Love, Live

Good evening everybody, I want to start off with a “HAPPY FRIDAY”. I really want to be open and honest with you guys and yesterday my dear dog, Xena, passed away peacefully. She was such a great companion not only for me but for my whole family which she impacted greatly; so the message today would have to be, love and be loved. There are many things that one can accomplish in your lives may it be money, fame, a family, and/or an assortment of other things that you may find important, but the one thing hardest for a human to obtain would be true love. I don’t think true love always lays in humans, but actually sometimes pets. I mean they are amazing, they love you unconditionally, they watch over you in your time of need, they make sure your clothes are full of dog hair before you leave for school, and they don’t talk back which is a plus. They really are a man/woman’s best friend and I along with others will miss Xena for a long time. That kind of love isn’t a love you can take without leaving your heart a little bruised.

On another note I really would like to to talk about school. There are so many topics being talked about right now; bullying, Ebola, play rehearsals, school grades/classes and these topics are not only sometimes tedious to discuss but overwhelming. I may not know the pressure of being a senior (I figure their lives are more complicated than most right now) but being a freshman also has its times; homework, play rehearsals, Youtube, classes/grades, family, and friends. I just want to nap for about one million years, that would so nice. One highlight of my week would have to surprisingly be in health when I watched this video (video below). It is not only emotional and heart wrenching but most of everyone can relate to it in one or two ways, I know I can. I just want to let you all know that you guys are unique and this video explains this message very well so enjoy it, enjoy your night, enjoy yourselves, and most importantly enjoy your life.

Another important message I will be posting only on “Happy Fridays” due to a very intelligent thing my mom told me earlier today and I really would love to hear your comments and ideas you would want me to show my opinion on, remember this is about us.

We Need Naps!

People of Earth, WE NEED NAPS. I have had a long but eventful day I would say. I started like every one of us; going to school after an interesting night, getting to 1st period which is English. I’m going to stop there, My English teacher whose name I won’t reveal on my blog, is probably one of the most inspirational people I have been so honored to know and he gave me a book, “The Count of Monte Cristo”. I am only 10 pages in, I started it after play rehearsals for MAY THE FARCE BE WITH YOU which I will get to later,  but it is already a masterpiece. So after first period I have acting then all my other classes which I don’t really care to discuss at this moment. The day was long and I hope that your day wasn’t long or I hope it was long if you want it to be because you guys deserve to be happy, which is my main point that I will be trying to make throughout our blogged stories. I am so very grateful though to be in this play, it is quite marvelous and so are the people in and out of the play. You, my future readers are literally what makes my day worth it, and I may be quiet but I’m working on it; moving here from California a couple months ago was a big/good change for me and many other people in my family. So I want to end todays blog with a final IMPORTANT message: Accept the unique, we are unique, embrace the hate, it’s just a minor infraction in our steel hearts. One last thing, You all are amazing for being and now I need sleep like most of you; PARENTS: WE NEED NAPS!

Newly Upcycled

I have FINALLY decided to blog about everything. Wow that sound incredibly boring and ridiculous but trust me when I say that I, Dylan J., am hear to defy the odds out against us by the “greater” of our community and give you an opportunity to be heard and express your feelings through… me. I am not here to revolt against adults, that’s unrealistic but I want you to know that you are not alone. If you feel different or are on the outside well guess what, you aren’t. We are the creative masterminds. We are the Upcycled Youth. Congrats on being you, goodnight and dream of dreams worth talking about. Wait, before you shut your eyes I want you to think about one thing. Tomorrow as you take that dreadful step out of bed into the car, out of the car, and onto the school ground which I know you all look forward to so much. think about this.

There is always one kid, or two, or three, and probably many more that you don’t take the time to notice but how about tomorrow you notice them. They may surprise you and if you are that one kid that is so quiet you could her a pin drop then SPEAK UP! There are mean people, I’m not going to lie but then there are those nice people that change your world and others not known to humans. I know that I over-exaggerate about many things but this is serious, just take a chance and say “hi” it may change your life and you may find “love”.

Hello, people who not only understand “us” but are trying to improve upon us because, honestly we are your future, we are the next of your world. I want to leave our already corrupted world in hands that are ready to mend and celebrate our creativity.
